It's the beginning of the week and Marc, a 16 year-old high school student, has a busy schedule. He has to take his younger sister to school, negotiate a bit of free reign with his mother, manage to see his girlfriend

Adil and Yusuf are two brothers living in Rome. Every morning, they take the train that leads to the market where they look for work. Adil doesn’t want to become a « slave », while Yusuf believes working hard is the only way to integrate in society.

Tavi, a man in his late thir ties, brings his four-year-old daughter, Alexandra, home. He is separated from Alexandra’s mother and while he tries to fix her bicycle in the living room and makes arrangements for the following Saturday, the couple argue about why the little girl doesn’t call him “Dad” anymore.

Mr. Conform, owner of the photocopy shop "Conform Copy", lives with the memory of a woman who vanished thirty years ago. Virginie, his assistant, takes things into her own hands and puts up posters of the missing woman throughout town.
