EUROPEAN SHORT FILM MARKET

From Wednesday, November 10th to Saturday, November 15th, 2008.

The European Short Film Market of Brest invites all the audiovisual professionals, especially into short films, to take part in the activities organized at the Quartz’s Foyer 2.

For this 23rd edition, the Short Film Market changes up. His goal is now to become a European meeting point for the audiovisual actors to exchange about the creation itself. Because a market shouldn’t be reduced to a lonely box-viewing of shorts where films are consumed just like any product, it must be a place where professionals can share ideas, spark debates, foster projects and think together about short film future.

As a continuation of the festival, the Film Market’s vocation is to become his profitable counterpoint by putting writing back at the heart of the creative process and project development and giving it a European perspective.
