The 38th European Short Film Festival is just around the corner! For the third year running, it will be on the move, taking place from November 8 to 12 at the Mac Orlan, Les Studios cinema, Médiathèque des Capucins and Multiplexe Liberté.
As in every year, the Festival de Brest brings together the cream of European short film at the tip of Brittany. After an opening night under the theme "The Show Must Go On!", the three competitions (European, French and Brittany) will showcase first films and school films, while the now legendary Brest off will explore unexpected encounters, carnal love and cultural origins. Thanks to the "Le Court d’après" and "Un court, un parcours" programs, the Festival is also a place to support the filmographies of emerging filmmakers. As every year, young audiences will not be left out, with a dedicated program to discover with school or family!
This year’s edition will feature a number of exceptional programs: we’ll be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Agence du Court Métrage and the 10th anniversary of Topshot Films, we’ll be previewing two feature films in the presence of exceptional guests, and we’ll be singing at the top of our lungs thanks to the Karaoke Social Club at Le Vauban!
