Un joaillier raconte à ses enfants l’histoire du diamant. En parallèle du récit de l’évolution de sa taille, qui peu à peu tend à l’uniformisation en écartant toute pierre « impure », on découvre ses enfants grandir et la crainte du père de les voir se formater.
A jeweller tells his children the story of the diamond. Alongside the tale of the development of diamond-cutting, that gradually moves towards uniformity, rejecting any stone seen as « impure », we see his children growing up and their father’s fear of their own uniformisation.
