Une petite fille, Matilda, n’arrive pas à dormir et joue avec sa lampe de chevet. L'ampoule saute et Matilda se retrouve dans le noir. Sa première frayeur passée, elle poursuit en jouant et se familiarise avec l’obscurité, découvrant un des charmes de la nuit.
Little Matilda can't get to sleep and starts playing with her bedside lamp. The lightbulb blows and she finds herself in the dark. As she gets over her initial fear, she carries on playing and gets to know the darkness and one of the good things about night-time.
