Une souris veut se loger dans le tronc d’un vieil arbre quand celui-ci la menace d’une grosse voix. La souris s'enfuit et croise un écureuil qui, d’abord sceptique, va vivre la même expérience. Viendra le tour d’un lapin, puis d’un pinson et, enfin, d’une tortue...
A little mouse tries to take shelter inside the trunk of an old tree, when it suddenly scolds her in a gruff, menacing voice. The mouse runs away and meets a squirrel, who disbelievingly scampers up the tree but soon beats a hasty retreat. Then in turn, a rabbit, a bird and a tortoise all have a go...
