24h du Mans, 1955. La course est grandiose. Il y a 300 000 spectateurs. Il est 18h quand la voiture de Pierre Levegh va s'exploser dans les gradins. C'est l'hécatombe, il y a 80 morts. Mais la course continue. Pierre Levegh a un co-pilote et ami qui attend de prendre son relais : John Fitch.

It's the 1955 race of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. 300,000 spectators are watching from the sidelines. It is 6 pm when Pierre Levegh’s car ploughs into the stands, scattering the crowd with his car engine’s hot debris. It is a tragedy that will cost more than 80 lives. And yet, the race goes on with John Fitch stepping in.
