Un rossignol déplumé chante dans la forêt. Son chant berce le petit ours qui peine à dormir, apaise les querelles des écureuils et divertit le couple de cygnes qui nage sur l’étang. Un jour l’orage s’abat sur la forêt. Le rossignol n’ayant pas de plumage, il prend froid et ne peut plus chanter.
A featherless nightingale sings in the forest. Its lullaby puts the crying bear cub to sleep, calms down two fighting squirrels, and entertains a couple of swans in a nearby pond. One day, a storm breaks over the forest and the nightingale gets caught in it. Without feathers to protect him, it gets a cold and can't sing anymore.
