Pendant dix ans, j’ai prétendu vouloir faire parler mon grand-père sur la guerre d’Algérie. Aujourd’hui, je ne suis plus sûr de vouloir entendre ce qu’il a à dire, ni d’avoir envie de faire ce film d’ailleurs.
For ten years I pretended I wanted to get my grandfather to share his memories of the Algerian War. Today, I’m not sure I want to hear what he has to say, or whether I want to make this film at all.
