Amin, jeune guetteur plein de bagou du 93, utilise sa voix magnifique pour prévenir les dealers de l'arrivée de la Police. Isabelle, metteur en scène à Paris, voit en Amin le futur soliste de son opéra et lui offre un avenir artistique loin de son ghetto. Amin, a suburbian smooth-talking lookout, uses his amazing voice to warn the local dealers everytime the cops show up in their neighborhood. One day, Isabelle, an opera director in Paris, gives him the opportunity to join her company. Will Amin be able to overcome the cultural gap in order to fulfill the hopes everyone placed into him?
