Mattis, presque quinze ans, travaille sur un bateau de pêche pendant l'été, et y découvre un monde qu'il ne connaît pas. Mais bientôt il sera temps pour lui et ses amis de quitter l'île de leur enfance et de rejoindre le lycée sur le continent.
Mattis is nearly 15 and has a summer job working on a fishing vessel where he finds out about a whole new world. Soon, however, it will be time for him and his friends to leave their island home to go to high school on the mainland.
