Marked in green on the schedule: Screenings specifically tailored for young audiences, with the recommended minimum age indicated.
The rest of the program is generally intended for a “mature” audience. Generally for ages 14 and up, unless otherwise noted: some screenings include a content warning (!) while others are family-friendly for ages 10 and up (*)
For audience members who would like details on sensitive topics featured in the films, you can now refer to the Trigger Warning.

Dans un village Sénégalais, Penda et Moustapha ont perdu leur fils de 17 ans à la suite d’une overdose, malgré le chagrin, Moustapha prend une décision radicale, son fils ne sera pas enterré dans le cimetière familial, car les raisons de sa mort rende son âme impure. Penda devra trouver seule la solution pour que son fils repose en paix auprès d’elle, envers et contre tous.
In a Senegalese village, Penda and Moustapha have lost their 17 year old son due to an overdose. Despite their grief, Moustapha makes a radical decision : their son will not be buried in the family cemetery because the reasons for his death makes his soul impure. Penda must find a solution on her own so that her son can rest in peace beside her, against all odds.
