When 75-year-old Betty discovers a small humanoid creature in her garden, she struggles to keep it hidden from her daughter, who has come to look after her declining health. But their mother-daughter relationship, already strained by Betty’s onset of dementia, turns into a nightmare when the creature starts growing larger and larger.
