Winter 1965 in Chicago. James Brown and Solomon Burke, two soul music legends, are playing at the Regal Theatre. In the wings, the tension mounts between the King of Rock and Soul and Soul Brother n°1. But the two men know that their music has hidden powers in 1960s America.
