As a promoter of the arts and culture, the Brest European Short Film Festival is committed to implementing tools

The Festival is committed to combating psychological, sexist and sexual violence.
By participating in the Festival, you agree to abide by the following Charter.

The Festival is a welcoming, caring and respectful place where everyone should feel safe, whether they are professionals, spectators, artists, volunteers or employees of Côte Ouest. The Festival therefore does not tolerate any discriminatory behaviour.

Together, let’s banish sexist, homophobic, transphobic, racist, ableist and other forms of discriminatory language and behaviour.

  • FOR AN ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE FESTIVAL

In the long term
→ Signatory of the Green Charter of Cinema Festivals since 2023,
→ Reduction in the printing of our paper materials (100% PEFC),
→ Reduction in promotional items and preference for non-vintage items,
→ Use of the eco-responsible digital tool Infomaniak, which is 200% carbon-neutral and raises awareness about digital pollution - ISO certified,
→ Contribution to local employment: printing - Cloître in Brest (CSR Bretagne 26 000 certified), 100% Breton internet service provider - Xankom in Guipavas, graphic design - La Boîte Graphique in Brest and entrepreneurs from the Finistère Cooperative of Activities and Employment (CAE29),
→ Social and cultural actions: solidarity programming workshops, image education and audience development in conjunction with social structures.
