Agatha, une petite fille de 9 ans, voyage seule à bord d’un bus qui l’emmène vers un pays lointain. Angoissée par ce périple vers l’inconnu, elle écrit une lettre à sa copine mais son crayon tombe et se perd dans le bus. Obligée de surmonter sa timidité, Agatha se faufile entre les sièges à la recherche de l’objet, plongeant dans un univers fantastique, peuplé d’étranges passagers, mi-humain mi-animaux. A leur contact, Agatha découvre la vulnérabilité des adultes solitaires, arrachés à leur quotidien et leurs familles, mais caressant enfin leur rêve de départ… Et si finalement, c’était de ça qu’elle avait si peur ?
Agatha, a 9-year-old girl, is traveling alone on a bus to a faraway country. Anxious about her journey into the unknown, she writes a letter to her girlfriend, but her pencil falls out and gets lost on the bus. Forced to overcome her shyness, Agatha wanders between the seats in search of the object, plunging into a fantastic world populated by strange half-human, half-animal passengers. As she comes into contact with them, Agatha discovers the vulnerability of lonely adults, torn away from their daily lives and their families, but finally cherishing their dream of departure... And what if, in the end, this is what she was so afraid of?
