1991. Avec son caméscope, le petit Misha, 12 ans, filme le voyage de sa famille qui quitte l'URSS pour aller s'installer en Israël. Lorsque la vieille tante meurt dans l'avion, la famille doit passer par les innombrables formalités des douanes israéliennes avec un cadavre.
